he ‘Flip’ Flop: Walmart Might Soon Exit Flipkart After ‘Limiting’ E-Commerce Policy, Warns Morgan Stanley Report by   Swarajya Staff   -     Feb 06 2019, 11:01 am US-based investment banking firm Morgan Stanley has warned that Walmart may offload its stake in Flipkart in response to the new FDI norms in India’s e-commerce market that came into force on 1 February (2019),  reports   Mint. "An exit is likely, not completely out of question, with the Indian e-commerce market becoming more complicated," said a report by Morgan Stanley. The US-based retail giant, Walmart  bought  a 77 per cent stake in Flipkart in May 2018 for $16 billion. Flipkart, along with Amazon India, dominates India’s e-commerce market. कुलपतियों की नियुक्ति: कितना गिरा है स्तर? रेहान फ़ज़ल बीबीसी संवाददाता, दिल्ली  गुरुवार, 17 अक्तूबर, 2013 को 07:25 IST तक के समाचार साल 1947 में पूरे भारत में कुल 27 विश्वविद्यालय हुआ करते थे. अब उनकी संख्या बढ़ कर 560 के पार पहुंच चुकी है. लेकिन हर निष्पक्ष विश्लेषक की राय है कि इन सालों में भारतीय विश्वविद्यालयों की संख्या जरूर बढ़ी लेकिन कुलपतियों के स्तर में भारी गिरावट आई. आजकल सर आशुतोष मुखर्जी, सर्वपल्ली राधाकृष्णन, सीआर रेड्डी और लक्ष्मणस्वामी मुदालियार के स्तर का एक भी वाइस चांसलर ढूंढने से भी नहीं मिलता. सच ये है कि तथाकथित ‘सर्च कमेटियों’ के अस्तित्व में होने के बाद भी अधिकतर कुलपतियों के चयन का आधार मेरिट न हो कर राजनीतिक पहुंच, जाति या समुदाय हो गया है. यह कहना ग़लत न होगा कि कुलपतियों की नियुक्ति सत्ताधारी दलों के राजनीतिक हितों को साधने के लिए की जाती है. इन दिनों एक नया चलन भी देखने में आ रहा है कि वीसी के पद के लिए रिटायर्ड सैन्य या प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों को तरजीह दी जाने लगी है, ख़ासकर केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालयों में. फौजियों का दबदबा पिछले स...
